Huge thanks to Divers Alert Network (DAN), who – through their Oxygen Grant program – provided BAREG with an Extended Care Rescue Pak O2 unit. While we have always managed through hook or crook to have an O2 unit on site whenever doing archaeological work or training, this means we are now no longer dependent on someone else to provide it or on their diligence in maintaining it. If you are a diver and not a DAN member, we would seriously urge you to consider joining. They are the industry’s leader in dive safety.
