Congratulations to the three BAREG members who completed NAS skills training the weekend of 5 & 6 October. Many thanks to the instructor, Troy N. for leading the third BAREG NAS class. BAREG is an international training partner with NAS and the group provides this training to its members as needed. The skills members learn in the water and on land, combined with the on-line training from NAS, will be used to support BAREG projects, such as our ongoing work off the Outer Banks of North Carolina and on the U-1105. The class was held at Tall Timbers Marina in southern Maryland and the in-water training was conducted in St. Georges Creek, a tributary of the lower Potomac River.
